Welcome to our website. We are the Nene Valley Textile Group. Anybody interested in needlecraft and textiles can join - you do not need to be an expert or even be able to stitch! Meetings are held monthly on Saturday afternoons at The Abbey Centre, Overslade Close, Northampton, NN4 0RZ. Doors will open 2pm for 2.30pm start.

What does a typical meeting consist of?

• An interesting talk on any aspect of embroidery or textile-related craft. This may be accompanied by slides and an opportunity to see the speaker's work at close hand. Or..
• An afternoon workshop run by one of our members.
• Business matters.
• Noticeboard advertising many textile exhibitions, classes, shops, etc.
• Cup of tea, cake and a chat.

What does it cost?

To be a member there is a subscription of £70 per year payable in September. There is no meeting charge for members. Visitors are welcome and pay £10 per meeting.
